Lunch with our Neighbors is expanding! We will be adding Friday to our schedule!
Now, we are beginning our fourth month; and now that we really have a view of the need, and how to best serve our community, we believe that we need to add a meal on Friday.
We will also be adjusting our time schedule. A lot of our folks ride the bus, and now that we know that and kind of know the bus schedule, we will be adjusting our time to be in better sync with the circumstances of our neighbors!
Beginning March 4 and continuing, we will begin serving at 11 AM and end at 1 PM. This change is really more about our volunteers. I am always at the church by 10 AM anyway, so our neighbors know that they can get coffee and get out of the weather shortly after 10.
God has provided for this ministry more abundantly than I ever dreamed! (Never be afraid to think big!) There is such fulfillment in watching and helping our neighbors and hearing how much they appreciate what we are doing. This is truly a Jesus thing!
